Venue Management
In the spring of 2000 the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall opened in the newly renovated Philips Memorial Building. The Department of Cultural and Community Affairs was selected to manage the Asplundh Concert Hall and support a wide variety of events.
The Office of Venue Management was created in 2006 to manage logistics, operations and scheduling for the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall and the new Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre. Venue Management staff work closely with on campus performing arts organizations, academic event coordinators, student organizations, and off campus local and regional users.
Since the year 2000 the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall and the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre have hosted over 1500 performances and over 500,000 audience members.
