Old Main - 1936

The Lounge

The lounge area of Old Main was the only public area in Old Main (which was by now primarily a female dormitory) where male and female students could meet and socialize.

Parking Lot

A 1936 photograph of the paved parking area of the Quad. The area was between the south side of the Old Gym and the north side of Old Main. The view is looking east and High Street is in the background.
