Limiting a Search
- You can limit title and keyword searches by many criteria. Limits are determined by each
local library.
Examples of limits include:
- Date or year,
Language
Type,
Medium,
Library Location,
Publication Status,
Place of Publication,
And Many Other Criteria

Search Tips
- You cannot limit a subject heading, author, call number or
course reserve search.
- Date Limits - how to limit a search by Date on the
Set More Limits page
- Fill in the options according to the following examples:
- To select a specific year, for example 1967
- To select a range of years, for example 1967 to 1999
- To select a range of years less than or before a certain year,
for example any time before 1967
- To select a range of years greater than or after a certain year,
for example any time after 1967
