- Search results from an Author or Subject search are displayed in the Headings Index. The Headings Index displays the number of titles associated with each heading (Titles), the heading name (Headings), and the classification system used (Headings Type).
When a See also button appears and is then activated, a page appears referring you to additional headings (see below).
- The Headings Index displays the results of your author or subject search.
Each item in the list includes- Title(s)
- Number of titles under a heading.
- Headings
- Subject Heading or Author Name under which titles are listed
- Headings Type, includes
- LC - Library of Congress Headings
- MESH - Medical Subject Headings, National Library of Medicine
- Title(s)
- Navigation
- Click on the underlined heading to display the Tites Index (list of titles) for that heading.
- To return to the headings index , select
at the top of the page.
- To move to another page of the headings index (if any), select
to move ahead or select
to move back.
- Saving/Printing/Emailing Search Results
- You can print or save or email information about individual records in
several ways as shown in the Save Options section at the bottom of any
page displaying search results.
