Contracts (MOA's)

There are 2 types of contracts that your program may need, service contracts, and Memorandum of Understanding. For more information regarding service contracts, please go to the Vendor Proposal tab on the left.

Faculty members at West Chester University who are interested in establishing international teaching and research collaborations, faculty/scholar exchanges, or bilateral student exchanges with their colleagues overseas can initiate an International Memorandum of Agreement (IMOA). An IMOA is a binding, legal contract formalizing the terms of collaboration between WCU and one or more partner institutions. An IMOA should outline a constructive new opportunity that reflects an institutional priority for all institutions involved.

The process begins by building off of the following template for unilateral programs approved by WCU legal counsel.

Unilateral MOA Template

Faculty members will be responsible for adding all content, specifically in articles 2 through 6, with the assistance of the Center for International Programs, will adapt and add an addendum to create the final version for approved.
