Important D2L Upgrade Announcement
PASSHE’s D2L environment will be upgraded to version 10.2 on Saturday, December 14th, starting at 12:01am. The resulting downtime could extend as late as 6:00pm Saturday afternoon. PASSHE campus Provosts reached consensus regarding deadlines for faculty to turn in grades to be “no earlier than 3:00pm on Tuesday after Commencement” (13 of 14 PASSHE Universities).

ONLINE OFFICE HOURS
D2L Services offers online office hours on Friday's from 12:30PM to 4:00PM. Information on how to participate in office hours will be available on the D2L MyHome page. If you experience any problems or have any questions please notify the D2L Services team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An after-hours D2L Help Desk Call Center is available for Faculty and Students to utilize. During regular business hours, (Mon-Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm) the West Chester D2L Services Office will still be available in person (Anderson 20), phone (610-436-3350 ext. 2), or by submitting a ticket (wcupa.edu/D2L) to provide their expert support for D2L related issues.
After hours, (Mon-Fri 4:00pm to 8:00am, and weekends) Faculty and students can now call (877-325-7778) or submit questions to the Desire2Learn Help Desk where D2L Professionals will be available to answer D2L related issues.
Calls about having difficulties logging into D2L because of an expired password should still be forwarded to the WCU IT Help Desk (610-436-3350 ext. 1).
Recently the D2L Services team has introduced a video series called: D2L Instructional Video of the Week. This video series aims to inform Faculty of less commonly used tools available in D2L and to refresh Faculty on how to use tools they may have forgotten how to use. The videos are short (under 5 minutes) and to the point, focusing on one particular tool or function available in D2L. The videos are available in D2L on the My Home page, and are also available by clicking on the links below:
What is the D2L Community?
The Desire2Learn Community is designed to promote collaboration among all Desire2Learn clients who wish to share online strategies, best practices and showcase some of the best ways organizations are utilizing the Desire2Learn Learning Environment. The Desire2Learn Community provides clients with the exciting opportunity to participate in engaging discussions.
