Depress switchhook. Begin conversation.
TO CONSULT
Depress switchhook. Dial desired party. Consult - Third party hangs up. Depress
switchhook twice. Resume original conversation.
CALL HOLD
Depress switchhook. Listen for Dial-Tone. Depress # - Hear Dial-Tone. Call is on
hold - Lay receiver down. or you can place another call. To return to held call,
HANG UP - Your telephone will ring. When you answer you are connected to
original call.
CALL PICKUP
To answer another ringing telephone in your pickup group, lift receiver - listen
for Dial-Tone. Depress * Begin conversation. To hold call and pickup another
ringing telephone, depress switchhook. Listen for Dial-Tone. Depress #, hear
Dial-Tone, depress * Begin conversation.
DISTINCTIVE RINGING
One ring - in-house call. Two ring - outside call Three ring - automatic
callback
SELECTIVE DIAL CALL WAITING
When a busy extension is encountered and you want to send a call waiting signal,
listen for dial tone. Dial 78. Dial the extension number - you will hear ringing
- the busy extension will hear the call waiting .
CALL WAITING
After hearing call waiting signal, depress TAP or MONITOR KEY.
Press the # Key and begin your conversation. To return to original call, hang
up. Your phone will ring. When you pick up you will be connected to your
original call.
DISABLE CALL WAITING
Listen for Dial-Tone. Press 9, then *, and then 70. If you have a rotary or
pulse-dialing phone, dial 1-1-7-0. Listen for the dialtone and make your
outgoing call.
CALL FORWARDING Listen for Dial-Tone. Dial 72. Dial Call Forwarding
Number. (If outside, dial 9 first) When party answers, announce call forwarding
- hang up. To activate if busy or no answer (inside) hang up.
Calls will forward (outside). Repeat above procedure immediately. Listen for
confirmation - calls will forward.
CANCEL CALL FORWARDING
Listen for Dial-Tone. Dial 73. Hang up. Call forwarding is canceled
AUTOMATIC CALLBACK
When a busy extension is encountered, hang up. Lift receiver (within 12
seconds). Listen for Dial-Tone. Dial 76. Listen for confirmation tone. Hang up.
When busy station becomes free, your telephone will ring 3 times. (2 short, 1
long) Wait for answer.
TO CANCEL AUTOMATIC CALLBACK Listen for Dial-Tone. Dial 77
