The WCU Phonathon connects alumni, families, and friends with the current students whose lives are touched by their generosity and support. Approximately 40 student callers work on-campus throughout the academic year to raise funds for the WCU Fund for Student Success. These students encourage alumni, families, and friends to support WCU with a gift of any level. Alumni participation is critical to the national ranking and foundation and grant support WCU receives. Contributions from families and friends are equally important, as they contribute to the overall academic quality WCU provides.

As incentives to help the callers stay motivated, local businesses donate gift certificates and items to the Phonathon program.
