Online learning allows you to use the Internet to complete a set curriculum without being present in a regular face-to-face classroom. Instruction is delivered primarily asynchronously, where the teacher and learner are not physically at the same place at the same time. Students work with materials individually or as groups. They interact directly with each other and with the faculty typically through e-mail, threaded online discussions, chat, and sometimes through voice or video communication during synchronous sessions. Convenience, cost and time of travel and flexibility of schedule are just a few of the reasons students choose online learning.
