Education
BA, MA Temple University

Jay Berkowitz is beginning his 35 th year at West Chester University . Professor Berkowitz, in addition to chairing the Department of Theatre and Dance, is also special assistant to the Associate Provost for Academic Policy.He is a former chair of Region II (PA,MD,NY,DE,NJ,DC) Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and has also served WCU for two years as a Presidential Fellow. Professor Berkowitz has extensive acting and directing credits in university and regional theatre and is currently a judge for the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia's Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre. Jay holds a BA and MA from Temple University.
