Summer Jazz Workshop
July 15 - 20 , 2007

Students will explore the pedagogy of jazz improvisation, arranging, orchestration, jazz history and performance techniques. Visiting artists as well as the WCU faculty will perform and conduct mastercalsses on various subjects. All participants will need to have a knowledge of scales, be able to read music, transpose and be proficient on an instrument. Participants will be grouped with peers.

DORM FACILITY
Overnight on campus lodging is available for $225.00 (Five Nights) In University Hall:   A new facility with security, air conditioning, bathrooms located  in suite, private and double to four occupancy is available.
(2 sheet, 1 pillow, 1 pillowcase, 1 blanket, 1 washcloth, 1 bath towel included).
