Program Summary
Responsiveness to Intervention (RTI) is receiving considerable attention as a new approach to preventing and/or identifying students with learning disabilities. Various models are being developed in school districts to implement the approach. As RTI becomes integrated with education, it gives SLPs an opportunity to become involved in the models and to redefine who they are.
