Olivia Newton-John will present My Healing Journey:  A New Personal Vision of Cancer Care and speak of her own experience with breast cancer and why treating the whole person and not just the disease is so important to a positive outcome for those confronting breast cancer.  She will also stress the need for self-examination as part of a comprehensive cancer screening program.  Lastly, she will address lifestyle choices that contribute to the reduction of cancer risks.

 

Janice P. Kopelman will present, The Power of Prevention of Chronic Diseases.  This presentation will offer a perspective on the Department of Health's approach to health promotion, the cost of treating chronic diseases and the progress that has been made through public and private collaborations that strengthen prevention and wellness.
