Amigos Sustainability Fellowship Program

The ACEER Foundation with the West Chester University Sustainability Advisory Council, has selected five Sustainability Fellowships for the 2010-2011 academic year. Along with Dr. Paul Morgan, WCU professor in charge of the Sustainability Fellows Program, and Marguerite Gould, ACEER's Director of Operations, these individuals have begun to develop an international green schools initiative that links their schools with partner schools in the Amazon basin of Peru. The partner schools in Peru include San Isidro School and Dos de Mayo School in Puerto Maldonado and Javier Heraud School in Laberinto. The projects between the partner schools are being developed and will focus on school gardens, recycling, watershed stewardship and green design and technology. To find out more about the schools and their projects, please click on the links below.
