Preferred Job Qualifications:

Coursework in Women’s and Gender Studies
Coursework or work experience involving human sexuality
Victim advocacy training
Ability to communicate with comfort on a variety of topics, including sensitive issues
Leadership experience or ability to reach a wide variety of students
Creativity
Research skills
MPH/MSW preferred for graduate student employees

Required Skills:

All Women’s Center staff members must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 (undergraduate) or 3.5 (graduate)

Culturally competent and comfortable with diversity
Strong written or verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS office programs
Ability to be self-starting and self- motivating
Complete tasks in a timely manner
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Ability to work unsupervised, independently, and in groups
