Sykes Student Union

West Chester University's NEW summer camp for fifth through eighth graders.

Sykes Student Union was designed to operate as the center of campus where the members of campus can come together for a variety of events. Sykes has four floors. On the ground floor there is a theatre that can hold 350 people, fitness center, bookstore, SSI window, and Ram E Card office. The first floor has Rams Head, which is a eatery, a dining area, common grounds, an area with couches and four computers, a commuter/TV lounge, and an outside dining Terrace. Also located on the first floor is a 5,000 square foot ballroom for banquets, dances, and lectures, the information desk and the office of off campus and commuter service are in office 116.

The second floor houses the Student Affairs Division offices of the Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Judicial Affairs and Student Assistance, Greek Life, and Student Leadership and Involvement. The Student Services, Inc. Business Office and the Department of Campus Activities, along with student clubs and organizations, are also located on the second floor.

The third floor includes four small meeting rooms, 23 computers, 2 Macs, and two printers. There is also a large study area which is designed as a quiet area.
