Service-Learning is defined as academic courses that have a service component. Students provide meaningful service to the community that is directly related to the course content. Reflection on these experiences is an important part of true service-learning.
Volunteer Programs provide opportunities for individuals, clubs and organizations to meet community needs through one-time events as well as ongoing programs.
