Welcome to West Chester University and the Office of New Student Programs! We want you to be successful as a non-traditional student, therefore, we offer a half-day orientation program designed to help non-traditional students prepare for their academic career at WCU.
A non-traditional student is someone 24 or older who is attending college for the first time or returning after an extended absence. Unlike traditional students, non-traditional students ("non-trads" for short) often work full or part-time, are married or partnered, and care for children or elderly parents. Non-trads should take advantage of the many student support services that are available for them at WCU.
When: The non-traditional orientation takes place in August. Date and time will be posted soon.
How to register: Please check back here for registration information.
What to expect: At orientation, you will have your West Chester University student ID picture taken, tour the campus, receive information regarding the many student support services at WCU, and meet other non-traditional students to network with prior to the start of the fall semester.
