The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) serves a vital purpose at West Chester University by providing programs, activities and services that contribute directly to the success of the multicultural students attending the University. Through interaction with students from pre-enrollment through post-graduation, the office supports achievement in the classroom, co-curricular activities, and professional endeavors. The overall mission of the office is to help provide and maintain a supportive environment that promotes the academic achievement and personal development of more than 1,800 African-American, Latino/a, Asian-American, and Native American Indian students at the University.

The Office is committed to working with other offices, organizations and departments to improve awareness of and appreciation for racial and cultural diversity in the University community.
