The Office of Residence Life and Housing Services at West Chester University upholds the central missions of the University and the Division of Student Affairs by providing programs and services that support academic goals and encourage student success. These are achieved through:
- Playing a central role in helping students apply the concepts learned in the classroom to actual life experiences
- Providing residents with a safe and comfortable living-learning community that values the virtues of intellectual honesty, mutual respect, ethical decision making, civic and social responsibility, civility and appreciation for diversity
- Providing facilities that are attentive to residents' needs and concerns
- Ensuring efficient and effective management of operations and resources
- Providing the finest and most appropriate range of services our resources permit
