College Park Communities
Affiliated Housing, via College Park Communities, is two housing projects on the West Chester University campus that were completed during the Fall 2004 semester. Both projects are managed as a partnership between West Chester University, University Student Housing LLC (a part of the Fund for West Chester University) and College Park Communities, based out of Newtown Square, PA. WCU hires, trains and supervises the Residence Life staff for each location (Resident Assistants and professional staff) and handles all student related issues. College Park Communities is responsible for occupancy management, including signing up and assigning students, as well as all facility related issues. University Student Housing, as the owner of the properties, coordinates and oversees the operation of both sites. - University Hall at West Chester University
– a 7 story, suite style residence hall housing 265 students, which completes the residential quad area that includes Sanderson, Schmidt and Wayne Halls. Both double and single bedrooms are available in furnished configurations that house two, three and four students to a unit. Semi-private baths are typically shared by two residents (never more than three residents) and small living areas accompany the double bedroom units. Rates are between $2897.50 - $3249.00 per semester for the 9 months of the academic year, depending on the type of accommodation selected.
- The Village at West Chester University (apartment living) – located next to the existing Student Apartment Complex on South Campus, across the street from the football stadium. Eleven three-story buildings house 524 students in four person furnished apartments. Each bedroom is a single, and two students share a bathroom. Each apartment also has a living and dining area, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The cost is $630.00 per month for a 12 month, full calendar year agreement
