Mission Statement

The Office of LGBTQA Services is an administrative unit with the University's Division of Student Affairs. The unit was created in 1994 to assist students with issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. University and community members who are "out", questioning their sexuality and/or gender identity, and allies can find a "safe space" with LGBTQA Services.

LGBTQA Services provides information, resources, and support for programming to members of the university and the community. The Assistant to the VP for Student Affairs, a faculty associate, and a graduate assistant work together to create a warm and welcoming climate at West Chester University.
