Project Lemonade
At times, West Chester
University is visited by speakers who wish to condemn
homosexuality and other issues that they deem deviant. Although
they have the right to speak their views, LGBT Services has
created project Lemonade to combat this hate speech with
something positive. Project Lemonade gives members of the
campus community the opportunity to pledge a certain amount of
money (ex. ten centers per minute) for each minute that the
speaker is on campus. The money raised is then used for positive
LGBT programming.
