Federal Mandates for Alcohol and
Other Drug Abuse and Prevention on Campus

The Office of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Programs is responsible for coordinating distribution of information required by the The Drug Free Schools and Community Act (DFSCA) and Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Regulations.

These regulations require campuses to certify that they have adopted and implemented programming to prevent the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees.

Required Notifications for Students

Standards of Conduct that prohibit unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol on university property.

Description of health risks associated with the use of illicit drugs and the abuse of alcohol.

Legal Sanctions for alcohol law violation under state law,
