Student loans that are not ACCEPTED will not appear on your billing statement or your ACCOUNT SUMMARY screen.
Remember that changes to your enrollment or housing status may change your financial aid package.
Review Your Bill/Account Summary
If your aid does not exceed your charges, email the Bursar's Office to discuss making payment arrangements. Even if you and/or your parents plan to apply for additional aid, it is still a good idea to make payment arrangements with the Bursar's office until the additional aid appears as part of your aid package.
If your anticipated aid exceeds your charges, use the "ACTIVATE" function provided by the Bursar's Office, by logging into myWCU.
Bookstore Vouchers – Students that have anticipated aid, in excess of the charges on their account summary, may obtain a bookstore voucher from the Bursar's office to purchase books.
Refunds – Once the charges on a student's WCU account are satisfied, excess aid may be available to help students pay for educational expenses that are not charged directly by the university, but are incurred as a result of their enrollment, such as housing, books, supplies, etc.
Refunds are subject to change if your enrollment changes.
Refunds will not be issued if your verification is not complete.
Contact the Bursar's Office regarding the availability of Book vouchers and refund checks. Direct deposit is available.
Failure to satisfy your financial obligation via the processes provided by the Bursar's Office will result in the cancellation of your class schedule. If your classes are dropped, there is no guarantee that you will be able to regain your original schedule.
