For aid consideration for the next academic year (Fall/Spring) complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid- (FAFSA) before MARCH 1^st but not before January 1^st.

Complete the Application for Federal Student Aid on the Web at (FAFSA). To apply on the web a Personal Identification Number (PIN) is required in lieu of a student and/or parent signature. The PIN can be obtained as part of the FAFSA completion process.

a) To apply for a Federal Stafford Student Loan you must indicate your interest in a loan by your response to question #26 on the (FAFSA). The "Student Loan World" is constantly changing! Please visit our web-site, for an update as changes are made. 

b) To apply for Federal Work study - you must indicate your interest in work study by your response to question #26 on the (FAFSA)  AND complete a West Chester University Student Employment Application.

Student Employment Applications are accepted and processed after the priority March 1st deadline.

Incoming freshman and transfer students will be notified of their financial aid awards via an Financial Aid Award Notification Letter, beginning in April of each year. Letters are mailed in regular intervals determined by the Aid Office.
