Mission Statement

The staff at the West Chester University Fitness Center is committed to the highest level of professionalism and customer service. We provide a learning environment to educate and encourage our patrons to pursue their personal wellness goals. The Fitness Center offers a variety of programs that promote cardiovascular health, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. We also provide services, such as personalized exercise workout plans, body composition assessment, and blood pressure

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. As a patron of the Fitness Center, individuals will be able to develop and practice recreational, fitness, and wellness activities that are part of a well-balanced healthy lifestyle.
  2. As a patron, individuals will be able to list and describe several important factors that contribute to proper health and wellness.
  3. At the completion of any semester, patrons will have obtained the goals within the Mission Statement.
