Multicultural Faculty Commission
The mission of the Multicultural Faculty Commission (MFC) is to create a space for a global faculty to expand itself in scholarship, identity, and in assuming academic leadership positions. The commission will collaborate with the administration and serve as an advisory board on issues concerning multicultural faculty. Specific goals of the commission include: 1) to create and participate in forums that seek to eliminate all forms of racism and harassment that prevent the campus from improving its climate; 2) to become a model for the commitment to social justice; 3) to support and encourage existing and new forms of inclusive representation; and 4) to develop an administrative-leadership model that is appropriate for the mission of this group.
