Application Procedures
International students are required to submit their application and all supporting documents to the Office of Admissions six months prior to anticipated semester of enrollment.
First-Year International Applicants must complete the online International Undergraduate Admissions application, as well as supply the following:
*West Chester University will consider evaluations conducted by other National Association of Credential Evaluation Services approved members.
Attention Education Majors: In order to become certified as a teacher in Pennsylvania, you must be a US citizen or US permanent resident.
Transfer International Applicants are those students who attended any post-secondary institution must complete the International Undergraduate Admissions application, as well as supply the following:
*West Chester University will consider evaluations conducted by other National Association of Credential Evaluation Services approved members.
West Chester University requires that you request a "course by course" equivalency summary and have the evaluation mailed directly from one of the acceptable evaluation services to the following address:

* Any applicant who has completed over 30 college credits in the United States are not required to submit an english proficiency score report.

Application Fee
All candidates for admissions must submit a $45 application fee when completing the online International Undergraduate Admissions application, which can not be waived.
Financial AidWe sincerely regret that West Chester University does not have the resources required to offer financial aid to students from other countries.

Center for International Programs - West Chester UniversityCenter for International Programs seeks to develop, serve and support international education at West Chester University. In addition to dealing with practical necessities of foreign students (such as immigration, orientation, housing, personal and academic counseling), this office attempts to promote increased regional and global understanding through a variety of endeavors in the University and the community which it serves.
