Research

The purpose of research conducted by Economics and Finance professors is to provide students with high quality business education. Consequently, faculty members' research findings are shared with students after they have been rigorously peer-reviewed by colleagues from within and/or other research institutions.

Additionally, there exists curricular opportunities for students who are interested in conducting research for their senior seminar, or assist Faculty members with their research. Student interested in research should contact an Economics and Finance department faculty member for guidance. Students who wish to conduct research by collaborating online with other students should visit the WCU's Collaborative Online Research and Learning (CORAL) website for details.

There are also opportunities for member of the public to co-author papers with Economics and Finance faculty members. Outside researchers interested in collaborating with us on a research topic are requested to contact the department chairperson, Dr Cynthia Benzing, by phone at (610) 436-2217 or by email at cbenzing@wcupa.edu for information.
