Department of Geology and Astronomy Message

In keeping with the mission of West Chester University, the primary goal of the Department of Geology & Astronomy is to provide high quality undergraduate education for geoscience professionals and future teachers in the broad fields of the earth and space sciences. Our secondary mision is to provide graduate training, mainly in the field of science education but also including continuing professional instruction.

GRAND OPENING OF THE GEOLOGY MUSEUM

The Geology Museum is scheduled to open this month. The Geology Museum is adjacent to the large lecture hall in the Schmucker Science Center in SSL 151. Geology majors who would like to volunteer in the Museum should contact Dr. LeeAnn Srogi: esrogi@wcupa.edu
