- The Quad (the student newspaper) Journalism minors can receive academic credit for working on The Quad within a supervised program.
- The Daedalus is a student publication of creative prose, poetry, art, and photgraphy.
- The Serpentine (the student yearbook)
- Aralia Press (a literary fine press) Students learn about publishing through making books by hand.
- The English Club is open to all students at WCU who enjoy the art of writing and reading. The Club sponsors a variety of activities including open-mic readings, off-campus outings,special events and publication projects.
