The 25th annual Mary Kline Lecture Series (nursing) and College of Health Sciences Career Day will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2008. The Mary Kline Lecture Series will be held in Sykes Student Union Building on Rosedale Avenue in the morning and the College of Health Sciences Career Day will be held at the Russell Sturzebecker Health Science Building on South New Street in the gymnasiums in the afternoon.

The Mary Kline Lecture Series keynote speaker is Army Col. Leslie E. Rice, a former WCU Faculty member, who will present her experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner having served in Iraq. This is an educational presentation that you won’t want to miss!! We will also have a panel presentation by West Chester alumni practicing in diverse roles and clinical settings. The program will begin at 9 AM and will be followed by a luncheon for alumni, faculty, and graduate students. If you are an alumni and interested in attending, please click the ALUMNI button below.

The College of Health Sciences Career Day exhibit has changed venue and will now be held in Russell Sturzebecker Health Science Center gymnasiums.  There will be vendors from hospitals, physical therapist centers, fitness facilities, rehabilitation centers, YMCA’s, retirement communities, and geriatric centers targeting positions and students in the areas of public health, health promotion, and exercise science.
