The College of Education offers more than 45 scholarships each year valued at $500 to $1,000 each with a total value of more than $45,000. College of Education scholarships are awarded on various criteria usually reflecting the values and purposes of the donor or the founder of the award. Some scholarships are one-time awards while others may be renewable.

• All students who wish to be considered for college scholarships are strongly encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Some of the college scholarships are based on financial need and only students with documented financial need will be considered for those scholarships. The 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available after January 1, 2013.

Current WCU Students:

• To be considered for any College of Education scholarships, you must complete the online college scholarship application. 

  This application is for currently enrolled WCU students only.

The College of Education scholarship application deadline is February 8, 2013. The notification of scholarships being awarded will be in late March.
