I-LEAD Charter SchoolThe I-LEAD Charter School serves youth disconnected from school with the opportunity to re-engage in their education and transition successfully into adulthood. Tutors will primarily help with homework and assignments, coaching students to understand assignment instructions, provide instruction in basic reading and math concepts to guide student through assignment, and encourage completion and achievement. Additional learning materials may be available. Olivet Boys & Girls ClubOlivet Boys & Girls Club of Reading & Berks County provides recreation, education and guidance programs for children ages 6-18. The clubs are located throughout the city of Reading. The clubs are open after school and into the evening to provide safe, supervised programs for the youth of the community. During the summer the club operates during the day and the organization has a swimming pool on Clinton Street and a camp located in Hamburg, PA. In this training, the future mentor will be trained on the dos and don'ts of mentoring.
