Report Your Community Service Hours!
The Office of Service-Learning and Volunteer Programs tracks student volunteer hours across campus. We ask that all clubs, organizations, fraternities, sororities, athletic teams, and individual students fill out our Community Service Monthly Report Form so we can better publicize your hard work and commitment to serving others.
"The President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, launched in 2006, annually highlights the role colleges and universities play in solving community problems and placing more students on a lifelong path of civic engagement by recognizing institutions that achieve meaningful, measurable outcomes in the communities they serve."
West Chester University is part of 3% of colleges and universities nationwide that have received this award. The award honors our institutional focus on community engagement and exemplary exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity with local communities.(http://www.nationalservice.gov/about/initiatives/honorroll.asp, 10/24/12)
