Housing Process

When you apply for admission to WCU you should indicate your interest in living on campus on your admission application. Once you have been notified of your acceptance as a resident student, and paid your required deposits, you will receive information from the appropriate office (either Residence Life and Housing Services or University Student Housing). That information will detail the steps necessary to secure your spot on campus. You will be required to complete and return the appropriate materials, which for the traditional residence halls includes the on-line Housing Application.

Once the deposit, on-line Housing Application and Student Occupancy Agreement have been submitted, then and only then will you be assigned a space on campus.

For Fall 2014, housing application information will be e-mailed on a rolling basis in March.

Students with special circumstances (readmitted students, part-time or non-degree students, etc.) should contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing Services for specific information about their situation. The University does not house non-students. Also, no type of family housing is available on campus, including housing for students to live with a spouse or dependent children.
