The
Office of Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, Transgender Services is an
administrative office within the University's Division of Student
Affairs. This office is a resource created to assist those
students who are struggling with their sexuality, in need of
information on sexual orientation or issues for personal and/or
academic use. The office, located at 233 Sykes, is staffed by a
graduate assistant and volunteers.
Our
services and programs support the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgender, and LGBTQ students, faculty, and staff at West
Chester University for information pertinent to their lives; for
acknowledgment that they are valued members of the West Chester
Community; for the security of knowing they have a voice within
the university; and for a sense of community, with recognition of
the diversity within this community.
We are also a resource for anyone on campus who wants to know more
about LGBTQ life and culture, or who wants to discuss LGBTQ -related
issues or concerns. |
