Lynn Klingensmith
Director of Judicial Affairs and Student Assistance
Lynn Klingensmith
joined the West Chester University Division of Student Affairs
in 2002. She holds a B. A. in Juvenile Corrections and an M. Ed.
in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University
and a J. D. from Temple University. In her role as the Director
of Judicial Affairs, Ms. Klingensmith is responsible for
implementing, coordinating and monitoring West Chester
University’s Code of Conduct. This involves the training and
evaluating of Hearing Officers, selection of members to serve on
the University Judicial Board, overseeing the appeals process,
and coordinating the administrative components of the judicial
program. In her Student Assistance role, Ms. Klingensmith
provides assistance and support to those students who are away
from the campus due to medical illness or family emergencies.
Ms. Klingensmith serves on
several University committees including the Town Gown Council
(co-chair), a group comprised of students, community
representatives, West Chester Borough officials and University
personnel who meet to discuss ways to foster positive
relationships between the University and the Borough of West
Chester.
Joyce Holste
Administrative Assistant
Joyce Holste has been with West Chester University since 2002. Before joining the Division of Student Affairs she held the position of Department Secretary for the Geology and Astronomy Department. Prior to coming to WCU, she worked for ten years with Coatesville Area School District and was involved with several committees and community service groups. Joyce comes to the Office of Judicial Affairs and Student Assistance with over 30 years of secretarial and administrative experience.
