The Director of Judicial Affairs and Student Assistance is responsible for implementing, coordinating, and monitoring West Chester University's Student Code of Conduct.  Major Judicial Affairs responsibilities include training and evaluating Hearing Officers and Judicial Boards, overseeing the appeals process, and coordinating all disciplinary administrative and database functions.  The Director works collaboratively with community and campus leaders on Town-Gown issues to promote positive relationships between the University and the Borough of West Chester.

The Director also provides assistance and support for students who are away from the campus due to illness, personal or family emergencies.  A note will be circulated to the student's professors advising the professor of the absence.  The student is also encouraged to contact his/her professors to make arrangements on any missed work.
