Sykes Union Advisory Board
UAB Mission
The Sykes Union Advisory Board is a student run
board whose mission is to develop and maintain
Sykes Union as a place to enjoy social, cultural,
educational, and recreational activities in a
pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. The purpose
of the UAB is to evaluate and recommend Union
policies, building operations, services, and the
allocation of building space.
Sykes UAB has also been involved in a number
Sykes of oriented projects, among them, the naming
of the third floor of Sykes after Frederick Douglass,
the Common Grounds coffee house, WCU After Dark,
and others.
Join UAB
Sykes Union Advisory Board meetings are open to
all undergraduate and graduate students at West
Chester University. Meetings are held every two
weeks in Sykes Union room 257. Please contact
