| Work Control acts as the primary customer service representative and customer single point of contact for all building maintenance services. |

| Work Control tasks include: |

Acts as liaison between the customer and appropriate Facilities personnel for all repair
services. |
 |
Assists building occupants in processing requests for repair services.. |
 |
Aids in distinguishing between institutional non-chargeable work and departmental
chargeable work. |
 |
Monitors customer satisfaction and responds to concerns and issues. |
 |
Trains and assists designated departmental staff in utilizing the iServiceDesk on-line
computerized work request system. |
 |
Accepts submitted Work Requests and transforms them into Work Orders assigned to
specific shops. |
 |
Responds immediately to emergency situations to dispatch appropriate shop technicians
to the scene. |
