WEEKDAYS:
– During peak hours
(8:50 am – 2:15 pm) two bus routes are followed:
The Q Lot bus leaves Q Lot/Village/South Campus apartments and North Campus every 10 minutes, stopping northbound at Health Sciences Center only on demand.
The Health Sciences Center EXPRESS BUS runs every 10 minutes stopping at Church Street and Wayne Hall.

During off-peak hours (7:15 am – 8:50 am and 2:15 pm – 4:00 pm), the buses
normally run every 10 min.
– Evenings:
Beginning at 4:00 pm, buses run every 10 minutes Monday through Thursday, and
every 20 minutes on
Friday. Last bus leaves Church Street stop at 2:05 am.
WEEKENDS:
Saturday service runs from 10:00 am
to 2:05 am at 20 minute intervals.
Sunday service runs from 10:00 am–6:00 pm at 20 minute intervals, and from 6:00
pm–2:05 am every 10 minutes.
SPECIAL SERVICE:
– During
exam weeks buses run every 10 minutes from 7:15 am to 2:05 am (except
every 20 minutes during evenings December 17 and May11 until 11:00 pm).
– September
5 (Labor Day) and October 11 (Fall Break: Buses run
every 20 minutes from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and every 10 minutes from 6:00 pm to 2:05 am.
– September
4 and October 9 & 10: Buses run every 20 minutes from 10:00 am to 2:05 am.
– Spring
Commencement: On May 12, 2012, buses will shuttle from Parking Lot M and
Sharpless Parking Garage/Lot F to Farrell Stadium from 7:15 am until 1:20 pm.
– The East Campus Bus Loop will run every 10 minutes, 7:30 am to 10:20 am and 2:00 pm to 4:50 pm, on class and exam days. This bus will stop at: Church St., M Lot (2 stops), High St. (at Parking Lot F), and the Sharpless Parking Garage.
Note: No bus service is provided when the University is not in session (e.g. during
Thanksgiving Recess, Dec/Jan semester break, and Spring break). After a holiday, bus service will
reactivate Sunday when a session begins again on a Monday.
BUS
ROUTES:
– Sturzebecker HSC EXPRESS BUS (Stop #3) also stops along New St. south of LAW (Stop #13) (upon request) (not during class changes), University Avenue and Church Street (Stop #1), and Wayne Hall circle (Stop #2).
– South Campus Housing/Village/Q Lot BUS stops at Sturzebecker HSC (Stop #3) (upon request), S Lot (Stop #11) (upon request), along New St. south of LAW (Stop #13) (upon request), University Ave and Church St. (Stop #1), Wayne Hall circle (Stop #2), Lot O--southbound (Stop #4) (upon request), South Campus Housing (Stops #5 and #6), the Village (Stops #7 and #8), Q Lot (Stop #9), and R Lot (Stop #10) (upon request). (Press button in R Lot to call bus.)
– East Campus Loop departs Church Street (Stop #1 or A) and turn left on Rosedale Avenue. Go through the light and turn right onto Matlack Street. Turn right into M Lot off of Matlack Street. Stop (if needed) in the northeast corner of M Lot (Stop # B). Turn left down second parking aisle and proceed to south side of M Lot. Turn right onto driveway that runs along the south side of M Lot. Proceed to the Stop # C at the southwest corner of M Lot. Jog out onto East Campus Drive heading west, and turn right onto High Street. Go through two traffic lights and stop (if needed) along High Street next to Parking Lot G (across the street from Philips Building)( Stop # D). Proceed up High Street and turn left onto Sharpless Street. Stop (if needed) alongside the Sharpless Parking Garage (Stop # E). Turn left onto Church Street and continue down to Stop A.
– During
non-peak hours, buses may stop at all stops upon request.
– Evening
Service: During periods of dusk or darkness, bus drivers are permitted to make
additional selected stops upon demand at the South Campus Apartments, The Village, the
intersection of New and Nields Street (Stop #14), Sharpless and Church Streets
(Stop #15), and New Street and Trinity Drive (Stop #12).
SUMMER
BUS SERVICE: The
shuttle bus will run every 20 minutes (7:40-10:30 am and 12:40-3:30 pm) between
the Village Apts, North Campus, and HSC, Monday thru Thursday (plus exam days), during
Summer Sessions I & II.
Note: Students using the bus service are advised that it is
not feasible to provide timely transportation between North and South Campus
within the standard 10-minute class break. Therefore, students should plan and
develop class schedules that allow time to be transported between the two
campuses through the use of open class periods.
