Poet's Application

Application instructions:

Complete the application below and submit it online or print it out and mail with the following materials:

  • Submit six poems and a brief bio. These poems will be used in your workshop.
  • A $50 deposit made payable to WCU Foundation.

Deposit Fee

A nonrefundable deposit of $50 must be included with each application. The balance of your registration fee is due upon notification of workshop placement and no later than May 1 (a $40 late fee will be charged after May 1). We accept checks or credit cards. Please call (610) 436-3235 or e-mail poetry@wcupa.edu for credit card information. No refunds will be made after May 20. Make checks payable to WCU Foundation.

Workshop Preferences

Full (Three Day) Workshops: You will select one three-day workshop and attend this workshop on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Workshops are limited to ten participants. Therefore, please select up to three workshops in case your first choice is full.

 

 

One-Day Workshops*: You may select as many One-Day workshops as you wish.  These will not interfere with the three-day workshops.

Conference Fee Options

FULL WORKSHOP $870 includes dorm lodging for four nights and meals for three days. $40 late fee applies if full payment is not received by May 1.

WORKSHOP WITHOUT LODGING $400 for a workshop registration without meals or dorm. $40 late fee applies if full payment is not received by May 1. A list of off-campus housing is available upon request. Please reserve early.

ADD FULL MEAL PLAN $220 includes lunches, dinners, banquet, and picnic (off campus breakfast provided at Holiday Inn.)

ADD LIMITED MEAL PLAN $160 includes banquet, lunches, and picnic.

ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS $90 for each one-day workshop, in addition to above fees.
