Your Arrival in the United States

Students on an F visa, entering the United States for the first time, may not arrive more than 30 days before the start date on your I–20. Academic start dates are established by the University and cannot be changed.

Before boarding your international flight, students should be sure to hand carry your passport, immigration documents, and any other supporting documents, so you can present them to an immigration officer upon arrival in the US.
