The Center for International Programs (CIP) seeks to develop, serve and support international education at West Chester University as a way of building understanding and peaceful cooperation between peoples, cultures and nations. CIP exists to assist foreign students to gain entry to WCU, to serve these students once enrolled here and to educate U.S. students globally by fostering opportunities for study abroad and exchange programs. This office also functions as a campus center for the coordination of international activities and concerns, and offers guidance towards the internationalization of the curriculum. In addition to dealing with practical necessities for foreign students (such as immigration, orientation, housing, personal and academic counseling), this office attempts to promote increased regional and global understanding through a variety of endeavors in the University and the community which it serves.
