About Us

Mission

The mission of the Center for International Programs (CIP) is to provide assistance to West Chester University’s international students, scholars and families.

Services include:

  • Advising and facilitating compliance with U.S. immigration regulations
  • Ensuring that all immigration procedures completed maintain the highest level of integrity
  • Serving as a liaison with U.S. government agencies, foreign embassies, sponsors and educational foundations that support international students and scholars
  • Conducting orientations and other special programming that help international students and scholars integrate into and adjust to the academic, cultural, and social life at WCU.
  • Contributing to the internationalization of WCU by providing opportunities for growth through cross-cultural interactions

Upon admission, you will be sent information regarding the issuance of your visa document (I–20 or DS2019). Orientation and pre–arrival information will be forwarded to you after admission.

General Office Hours

Monday - Friday
8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Walk-in hours are generally reserved for individuals who have short 15-minute questions. No appointment is needed for walk-ins. If you want to meet with an advisor for a longer time, we suggest that you call and make an appointment.
