Chanae Guinyard is a Senior from Philadelphia, PA. She attended West Philadlephia Catholic High School and enjoys shopping, volunteering, and helping others. She "lives" black history and loves learning about it. She likes hanging out at Sykes Student Union, especially the Office of Multicultural Affairs. A fan of breakfast, she can also be found grabbing a bite to eat at the campus diner (breakfast is served all day).

Chanae transferred from another university in her Junior year in pursuit of a university that recognized it's multicultural students. She wanted a school where she could relate to the students, faculty, and also be proud of heritage.

Words of advice for prospective students:
"Embrace who you are. Be yourself and love where you came from. My favorite quote is 'change is inevitable, growth is optional.'"
