International Student Information

 

Application Procedures

First-Year International Applicants must submit the following along with a completed Undergraduate Admissions application:

  1. Evaluated/Translated Transcript(s) - all applicants must submit certified, official, English-translated copies of all secondary course work completed, including subjects listed and marks earned, certified copies of required certificates, diplomas, and degrees, and general certification examination results with a minimum of five passes, where applicableApplicants are required to have their official high school transcript evaluated by WES Inc. (World Education Services, Inc.).  Please see reverse side regarding this translation service.
  2. TOEFL Score Report - all non-native speakers of English must submit an official score report from TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).  For consideration, applicants must score a minimum of 80 on the internet test or a minimum of a 550 on the written test or a minimum of a 213 on the computer based exam.  SAT or ACT scores can also be submitted and will be considered as a supplement to the TOEFL.

Transfer Applicants (anyone who attended any post-secondary institution) must submit the following along with a completed Undergraduate Admissions application:

  1. Evaluted/Translated Transcript(s) - all applicants must submit certified, official, English-translated copies of all completed post-secondary course work, with all subjects listed and marks earned.  Applicants are required to have their official college transcripts evaluated by WES Inc. (World Education Services, Inc.) Please see reverse side regarding this translation service.
  2. TOEFL Score Report - International transfer students must submit an official score report from TOEFL, see score requirements above.  If an International transfer student has already completed 30 credits at an institution within the United States, these scores are not required.
  3. International students who have completed fewer than 30 credits at any post-secondary institution must also submit the above required materials listed under First-year students.

 

Application Deadline

Fall (August start) March 1st
Spring (Janurary start) September 1st

Please Note: International students are required to submit their application and all supporting documents to the Office of Admissions six months prior to anticipated semester of enrollment. 

 

Application Fee

Candidates for admissions must submit the $35 application fee with their admissions materials.  This fee is not waived.

 

Financial Aid

We sincerely regret that West Chester University does not have the resources required to offer financial aid to students from other countries.
