Ways to Visit

Campus Tours

       *For groups of 8 or more, please email uadmintour@wcupa.edu for accommodations

  • Tours are offered Monday- Friday during the academic year and throughout the summer.
  • Registration is required; please click the "Campus Visit Schedule" to register.
  • Take a student-guided tour of campus to talk with our students about their love for WCU.
  • Campus tours take about 1 hour.
  • Tours typically consist of a visit to a residence hall, the dining facility, and a classroom.
  • Students who are interested pursuing music as their major can take a tour of the Swope Music Building. For available dates and to register for a tour please click here.

Admissions Information Sessions

  • Information Sessions are available throughout the fall and are denoted by an astrisk (*) on the calendar. They are geared toward students beginning the application process.
  • Registration is required.
  • These sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about applying to WCU along with the academic, residential, and extracurricular opportunities available.
  • The 30 minute information sessions are given by an Admissions Officer and followed by a 1 hour tour of campus.

 Saturday Information Sessions

  • Saturday information sessions are offered on select Saturdays during the Fall semester.
  • All available Saturday sessions will be listed on the "Campus Visit Schedule"
  • Sessions begin with a 30 minute presentation by and Admissions Officer covering the academic, residential, and extracurricular opportunities available at WCU and are followed by a 1 hour guided tour of campus consisting of a visit to a residence hall, the dining facility, and a classroom.

Self-Guided Tours

  • Use our Self-Guided tour Brochure at your convenience when tours are not available or when the Office of Admissions is closed.
  •  Print a Brochure from here or stop into the Office of Admissions Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM to pick up a copy.

Virtual Tour

  • For individuals unable to visit campus, we have a virtual tour of campus.
  • This tour includes many of the stops on the University Ambassador-led tour, including all of our academic buildings on campus.

Important Information

Getting to WCU

Parking

  • In order to accommodate the large number of visitors, parking is available in Lot M1, M2, and Matlack Parking Garage located behind E.O. Bull Center next to the Swope School of Music Building (Please view our Campus Map).
  • The lot and garage can be accessed off High Street or Rosedale Avenue. Sykes Student Union is a few blocks from the parking lot. Please allow extra time to walk (about 2 blocks) from your car to the site for registration.
  • Parking permits will be in your email confirmation.  If you forget your pass, one can be picked up from the Office of Admissions beginning 30 minutes prior to your session.  Please stop at the Office of Admission before parking your car to obtain your permit.

Inclement Weather

  • In the case of inclement weather please check www.wcupa.edu or call 610-436-1000.  If classes are canceled all tours are as well.  Delayed openings will not affect the campus tour schedule.
